No way people are actually mad that Hunter and Wrecker are cautious of Crosshair
Yeah. People are forgetting what the characters do and don’t know. They were never even sure if Crosshair turned against the Empire. They knew he was listed as a prisoner and that he sent them the Plan 88 message. They never had any actual proof it wasn’t a trap. Last time they actually saw him, he chose to stay marooned on a platform instead of coming with them. So yeah, they’re cautious.
I’m gonna need 30 business days to stop crying over this episode

The Band Batch 3x04 SPOILERS
To be honest, the only thing I wish they showed (though it’s completely okay that they didn’t because this way it hit even harder) is the moment Hunter and Wrecker received the coded transmission. The way Wrecker tells Omega “I wasn’t even sure the message was real” - I, not we. Which means there had to be an argument about this. Hunter, with focus narrowed only to Omega, rushing into action because it’s her, we have have to go get her, and Wrecker, the voice of reason we’ve seen him be in episode 2, holding him back and warning that this might not be real, that this is likely a trap. But they decide to go, they decide to check this because they’d be stupid not to. They’re willing to risk it because what if it is Omega, waiting for them there?
So they go. And the risk pays off.
